Resourcing Missional Entrepreneurs

Reblogging this post today because I get requests how to find my presentation.

—————————————

Prague. Yesterday I spoke to a group of Christian business professionals and Foundation leaders from USA about how to resource missional entrepreneurs in Europe in a sustainable way, ie, without creating eternal charity cases. These people, all of them very friendly,  are part of a European tour organized by Fred Smith of TheGathering.com and Lee Behar of The Maclellan Foundation.

I talked a little about what we have been doing in the past ten years in Europe and some of the best practices we have observed from our collaborators. In hindsight, I thought the presentation was a little too heavy on the strategic side and lacked some warm human stories. . . . Oh well. After I spoke, my good friend Sasa Flek shared about the Bible21 project which was excellent.

But here is my presentation. And if you happened to be in the audience, then please accept my humblest apologies.

  • Hi TS. Had a look at the slides and a they look great and b I’d love to know more about each one . . . we are a freshie just beginning to look at job creation and entepreneurism. I encountered some of Mats’ ideas and Bill Bolton’s ideas while in CMS. Is there a recording of what you said? Do you have any notes to go with the presentations? Cheers, Colin Darling

all my fonts, and i rarely used more than 3 in one slide, are from fontsquirrel and are all free.

  • Andrew, looking forward to when the Podcast links start jumping onto this blog. Anyhow, I’d love to read some thoughts into this topic, the thoughts on David vs. Saul was inspirational. I just landed in NZ a few months ago and I am looking at jump starting a movement in the Northland with a group of friends. Your slides really got my mind salivating for more on this topic. Gotta go, Richie McCaw is about to decide which Haka will start off the Rooster slaughter.

i hope to be back in nz in december/jan.

  • Are you up for a chat about your time here in Dec/Jan? I have a team of people that are available to do things during this time. Not to be vague in this setting but an email conversation may be more applicable.
