Yes its my birthday today and I am taking it slow. The family is making dinner tonight and I will have an apple strudel instead of a cake (I dont like cakes . . too dry) because we are in GERMANY right now.

For my presents, I got a pocket knife, some pants (trousers) and a jumper (sweater). I thought about buying Mars Edit blog editing software to replace my Ecto, which I stopped using 6 months ago, but actually I have been using a free editor called ScribeFire for a while and I might stay with it.

Well along with my birthday greetings on Facebook, now inquiring minds want to know… why did you stop using Ecto after all this time?
Ecto became unstable almost a year ago and MaC USERS LIKE ME [oopps hit cap lock – wasnt shouting, really] and mac users got sick of the spinning beach ball and started moving over to mars edit.
but not me. i have been an ecto fan since the beginning and before the beginning – when it was kung log. but the crashes got ridiculous and they have not been able to update the software enough to make it work properly.
but i might make the move one day if scribefire annoys me too much – it messes up the text a lot – but its free and it works off line.
hey canadians, if you can make a moist cake [you’re thinking carrot cake aren’t you????] then i will come up to canada to eat it in a few weeks. really.
