Mark Berry found this pilgrim t-shirt. Nice.
I had an idea for a pilgrim t-shirt also, based on the 1972 movie of Francis of Assisi called “Brother Sun Sister Moon“. What do you think?

very cheeky…
cool..but the graphic looks like he’s about to swan dive into the world, which now that I think of it is not such a bad thing.
i would rather have the image from the film where he disrobes in front of his father. but this image is from the actual movie poster.
Great placement of the word “moon”
I like the text, Andrew.
thanks. i should say, for non-americans, a “moon” is another word for the public showing of one’s backside. i am sure you remember the scene from the movie…. well . . . i think its funny, anyway.
Brother Sun, Sister Moon was the first movie I ever saw in a cinema. I had been raised to believe that the cinema was an evil place. It was a good movie. I’m enjoying other commentators’ humorous responses. I can see you not being allowed in certain places with such a t-shirt.
Classic, Andrew! This is going to be circling in my Franciscan circles very soon.
Peace,
Jamie
What is the difference between a ‘pilgrim’ t-shirt and one without that prefix?
looks great.Would he get arrested for such a pose today?
I’ll take a medium please Andrew
~dies laughing~
About 1974, in a classic over-estimation of the maturity level of jr high students, our diocesan youth conference showed this film as an evening event.
The disrobing scene was THE ONLY PART that made any impression. On anyone. I guarntee you, everyone who was there still remembers that night. (And the opening of the talent show a few nights later, where 12-year-old Master of Ceremonies entered to a swell of classical music in a brown bathrobe…and a strategically placed construction paper “welcome” sign.)
We’re very spiritual. Still.
Into it!
. . . you should start printing this on your bottles! 😉
