The Sunday Times HPV Story on page 6

That 13 year old Orkney girl in the papers today is our daughter. Heres the skinny.

Sunday Times did a good job covering the story of our daughter’s coerced HPV jab. Other families were involved but for some reason our story got the headlines. Page 6 in the paper version. Not sure about other papers. We dont get them all up here in Orkney. I will post it or scan the Sunday Times article or something, as soon as I get the Sunday roast in the oven.

Any ideas on a topside roast? Slow roasting, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall suggests. Thank God for Hugh who tells us how to cook the cheaper cuts of beef. In the meantime, if you read it and have any questions or comments, feel free to write them down below and either Debbie or myself will try and respond.

OK – heres the story from the Times.

Hmm, that didn’t come up as a link. Sorry folks, you’ll have to cut ‘n’ paste.

This article could have save half of the debate over at the other thread. So sorry for all the vitriol over there, Andrew. Sigh….

    Hi Andrew,
We will pray for you, your wife, and your daughter. I am so incredibly appalled by the initial incident, and the stupidities that some people have written about you, on at least one media article thread.
I recommend http://www.vran.org, to readers who want to get more information.
Consent. Informed consent. Respecting the position taken by the parents, when consent has not been given. This is basic stuff. If these break down, if the State starts to act against our will, in matters that should be left to the will of the parents, may God help us all.

Andrew – I read the comments at both places and I really hope your family doesn’t let the negativity get to you – it sounds like a number of people who are anti-God are using this as an opportunity for Christian bashing without trying to understand the nuances here.
