Mac? Yes
Typepad? Yes
Earphones? Yes – just bought another set.
Bonos (sunglasses)? Yes, on occasion.
Crowder (gottee)? NO – I cut it off a decade ago. Maybe I would be an imposter also.

Mac- yes
typepad – yes
earphones – no
sunglasses – no
crowder – nope.
That is a FUNNY cartoon.
The cartoon’s nailed it! It always made me smile how U2 and the Mac…and Coffee loomed so large in the Emerging lexicon. Not that I have a problem with that. Are my credentials enhanced because I have a bunch of U2 albums? There on vinyl as well as CD(but not MP3) – just to show I’m long in the tooth.
Also, I love a trip to Starbucks as much as the next guy.
I even sported the shaven head – facial hair look for a while….then of course there’s the blog!
It’s good to laugh – and sometimes it’s best when it’s at your own expense!
Peace & Blessings

Glad the cartoon is being enjoyed – it was originally posted here – the link explains why I drew it too.
dave – its YOUR cartoon?
i didnt have time to find out who the author was.
well done. see you at greenbelt festival.
well let me see…
mac – of course, since I was 11…
typepad – no, just plain ‘ol blogger
earphones – no, I like the sounds of london
sunglasses – of course it 34C today!
crowder – no, which is mainly due to me having the facial hair of an 11 year old boy, which on the one hand is great (shave once a week) and on the other means any bearded fashion vagaries pass me by…
One imposter? Why not six?
priceless. you just need a bearded lady in the mix.
kind of missing the women aren’t they and they wouldn’t be bearded if they were there. THE LOOK sends my teenage kids running the other direction. they talk about the “american youth pastor look” (as described above) as something ridiculous and amusing at best. teens are not fooled by those who hope to be hip.
How apt that they are all men.
you know….that supposed impostor looks a lot like Shane Claiborne
