Unravelling Emergent

Doug Pagitt, the guy who created the Young Leaders group that became Emergent Village, has written an excellent piece on the values of Emergent. I have always been a fan of Doug and we have had good times together. Good to see him speaking out, especially when Emergent USA is beginning to be defined more by its critics than its proponents. That was good. It sounds like Doug is shifting from a church culture that was more fundamentalist/evangelical. I think he made some really good points, however, these points SEEM to be views long held by many denominations that are not typical labeled “evangelical”.
That was a good article, thank for sharing the link.
