May 24th, 2005 will mark 20 years of my pilgrimage – doing this crazy stuff for God all over the globe.
20 years ago, I sold my car and bought a one way ticket to Europe – with a 5 week stopover in Aisa. On 24th May, 1985, I said goodbye to my mum and family and flew off with a team of young people with Operation Mobilization. That was 20 years ago, exactly. Well . . .it will be on Tuesday 24th.
What to do? . .. Need to celebrate. Don’t know how but come back on the 24th and maybe i will open up a special party room online for a celebration drink or two.
May 24 is indeed a good day…I became a Christian on May 24, 1988 after a drug overdose…so I too will be celebrating this day and I hope I can tip a pint with you in your special party room.
