Ivan’s coming. Got Prayer?

_40071984_ivaneye_300_ap>
How many of you are going to come under Ivan’s thumb tomorrow? I really don’t want your house to get flattened or flooded.

Prayer:
“Hey Dad. Our houses and possessions belong to you. Please spare them, and let Ivan pass over.”

Leave a comment, and we will pray for you and your house.

Prayers for my brother who lives in the Florida panhandle would be appreciated. He and his family bugged out, but prayers for their house would a wonderful thing! Thanks.

My grandfather’s beach house was probably destroyed. :S We’ve gone there very year since before I was born. Since it was in Gulf Shores, I think it got the brunt of the storm.
God, please have mercy on all those who are displaced and who have lost so much. I pray especially for those in Grenada. Give them strength.

well the trailer that we travelled in this summer. that was our home. and was all the equity we had from our old house was sitting in asheville very close to the french broad river on consignment. we were hoping it would sell being it was a really really nice trailer. well the last hurricane came up and flooded it. it was more than half way up the trailer. the really nice man who owns the shop there lost everything and his business. he is this really gentle north carolina man. well anyway. they are expecting more flooding with ivan. so our plans to recuperate our money has been lost. don’t know what God is doing there. i know he will provide some other way. i am glad we were not in the trailer though. we are now back in austin. so prayers for tony the nice shop man and prayers for our finances are needed. we need 4 months rent and money for bills now. and then the trailer. what to do with it. so far away from texas. seems everyone has been touched by these storms.
praying for others hit by the storm.
    whitney and family.

thanks for mentioning Ivan. We here in Montgomery, AL experienced a direct hit, albeit about 150 miles inland. Gulf Shores, AL (a favorite beach vacation spot for our family was destroyed – very sad). People are getting their power back – some people in our church did not have power still as of today, and the lights did not work in our sanctuary. We had the service by candlelight. Lots of trees down, etc., but we got off really easy. Folks to the south of us got hit much harder.
