World’s Best Christian Blogs:

Be the Light – Chris Duffett is an innovative evangelist and currently the President of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.  Always interesting to see what street evangelism he has been up to and the amazing stories of the reaction he gets.

Church Marketing Sucks – Consistently useful articles on church communications.

God’s Politics Blog – Part of the Sojourner’s movement in the US set up by Jim Wallis.  A variety of bloggers write some insightful comments on society and church life.

Tall Skinny Kiwi – Nomadic Baptist minister, part of the emerging church movement, who extensively travels worldwide connecting with different Christian communities.    A fascinating read.  As I write, he seems to be based in New Zealand for a bit – hope he is on his travels again soon. [TSK: Always traveling, Chris, even when I am based in NZ]

Krish Kandiah – Krish is an Executive Director for the Evangelical Alliance in the UK.  Often blogging about British Christianity he does travel abroad sometimes and did some brilliant articles on the 2010 Lausanne Conference in Cape Town.

Stuff Christians Like – Funny and sometimes challenging reflections on US church life by Jon Acuff

iBenedictines – Written by Benedictine nuns in Oxfordshire, UK.  Often will comment on the liturgical calendar but covers other topics too.  Succinct and wise.

eChurchblog – Christian news from the UK and overseas.  Will often find stories about the church that are not being picked up elsewhere.

Israel Olofinjana – Baptist minister in the UK who has written books about the church in Nigeria.  Good on multiculturalism, Pentecostalism and the church in Africa as well as Britain.

Red Letter Christians – Similar set up and viewpoint to God’s Politics but from US Baptist Tony Campolo and a group of bloggers

Communicate Jesus –  Australian blog on church communications and ministry.  Very helpful and full of advice and tips.

VickyBeeching.com – UK worship leader and lover of new media, Vicky generates thought- provoking posts that generate some interesting online discussions
