For the careful observer standing under the mosaic

overwhelmed at the diversity

suddenly noting the handle of a broken teacup

protruding

reminding the observer of their own brokenness

as the eyes focus on the beauty

being a unique and beautiful part of the whole

i feel my soul dance

as i throw my arms out to the sides

with my eyes still looking up

i spin

and dance

like a five year girl

i feel broken

imperfect

unique

and beautiful.
