TallSkinnyKiwi on Something Beautiful Podcast

TallSkinnyKiwi interviewed on the Something Beautiful Podcast – Did I just refer to myself in the third person??? On the podcast, which is hosted and commented on by some really wonderful people with interesting accents, I talk about my training, early mission experience, fundamentalist background as a street evangelist, the side-benefits of Bible smuggling, tinkering around with the early emerging church in the 80’s and 90’s, and I fess up to my particular heresies.

appreciate your thoughts at the end Thomas [not your waffling whinging and whining about your afflictions in the beginning, of course] and i like how you made things clearer and more practically relevant. Must catch up in Glasgow soon. My wife was just there for 4 days at the trade fair.

The Sinead O’Connor song “Something Beautiful” keeps playing in my mind as I listen to this – fascinating. You should do a spiritual memoir … let someone do your memoir … hint, hint, hint.

  • That would be fab, Andrew… glad I could add a smidgen to the discussion.

  • Becky you and i had the same thought – while i was listening… i kept thinking about andrew’s prophetically coming and spoken Biography!
Andrew.. nicely done… i enjoyed the ride… some of it made me giggle… you left out the prophetic clown parts… but somethings are good kept quiet 😉
Are you actually coming to austin in March? what’s the deal on that?
I’m waiting to hear back on a job, so might be doing the 8-5 m-f shin dig… eesh… that means i actually have to go to sleep at a normal time… God HELP ME! big phat shalom from the Thomas Ship here in Austin.
