. . . according to the geeks at GenderAnalyzer.com. Honestly, I soooooo do NOT know why they rated me so low on the male scale. omg! I am certainly a MAN, yea . . indeed . . . but i have a wife and 4 daughters and I think the way I talk and write and blog is affected by that. Do you know what I mean? Can you FEEL me on that one?
HT: to Lingamish which, contrary to popular opinion, is actually written by a man
and . . . in case you were wondering . . .
Are you sure about Lingamish? He blogs about cats you know.
I came out female–happy day–though only 54%. Must be all that seminary training.
I came out female as well –58%– I bet it is because I had two older sisters, and no brothers.
Mine said: We have strong indicators that http://johnsmulo.com is written by a man (98%).
I’m gender neutral with my language. Must take into consideration a lot more than that. I couldn’t believe it was so high.
76% male here… must be the Football posts 😉
Here are a few interesting results …
We have strong indicators that http://www.emergentvillage.com/ is written by a man (99%).
We guess http://jonnybaker.blogs.com/ is written by a man (58%), however it’s quite gender neutral.

Ha! That’s funny that emerging women came up as written by a man. Mine came up 50% sure written by a man. I wish there was a way to explore the framework they are using. So interesting! I also wonder what national context this was developed in. Was this designed by Americans or Canadians? Australians or New Zealanders? I think that makes a difference in terms of how we perceive gender issues.
I’m not sure what happened to change things, because I used to be thought to be a man:
We think http://abisomeone.blogspot.com/ is written by a woman (62%).
That is a relief, Andrew…I am the only female in a house full of males (husband & 3 sons)
Apparently, Jesusmanifesto.com is written by a being who is 63% male. Unfortunately, the male:female ratio for writers is much worse than that.
So my blog (julieclawson.com) is listed as being written by a man (55%). But I love that 91% man for Emerging Women. Take a blog with 100 something female posters and that’s what you get??? honestly what are the criteria here?
So today we learn that Emerging Women are more manly than Mark Driscoll! Hmmmm!
I think they purposefully switch the gender just to cause a stir. I am 97% macho with just enough tender side to cry at romantic comedies.
wow thanks a lot…it says 98% written by a woman. now i feel like a woman. dangit!
Thats Hilarious
Come on Skinny man up now.
My results came out 90% .Maybe thats the wrong phrasing!!!
We have strong indicators that http://mardibum.blogspot.com/ is written by a man (90%).
I’m gender neutral too. Any idea what it’s based on?
Driscoll is going to be kicking himself for the 17% of his posts that are girly.
87% bloke!
I love it – more blokey than Driscoll 🙂
haha
We guess http://matybigfro.blogspot.com is written by a woman (57%), however it’s quite gender neutral.

We think http://timabbott.typepad.com is written by a woman (88%).
Now I’m worried…!
Dave: I agree. Wow! Only 83%.
well i guess some if it is right and left brained thinking and styling… if you want my gut on it.. i came out 60% female…..
What are you expecting??? If there are no cars, no sports, no guns and no pornography on your blog means, you are not a real man! And, there are more than 3 words in a sentence!!! By the way, and no fishing story’s . . . it was BIG like . . .
O.K., I’m a german redneck 😉
Wish you all the best my friend – we move to Switzerland/Bern by the way!
