People are saying the internet won it for Obama, the first “search engine President”. Hilary spent $67,000 on google ads and Obama spent a million. Its seems the web made a big difference. Interesting . . .
It’s one of those things where something like being nominated as a presidential candidate is never going to be down to just one thing. His recognition of the internet and – in particular – social networking, was definitely a big factor. Galvanizing over 1.5 million people to make donations – mostly over the internet – is huge!
