The Daily Scribe

Identification

New meta-blog: TheDailyScribe.com describes itself as “an evolving compendium of quality religious writing by bloggers.” It includes voices from the full gamut of religious thought including paganism, Judaism, Unitarian Universalism (where owner Shawn Anthony hangs) and Buddhism. Christianity is one of the players, of course, but the owner decided that the emerging church conversation was important enough to have its own channel. And they were kind enough to include Tallskinnykiwi in that channel.

Its a challenge for me, when i see my blog in the midst of other voices like these, not to blog better but to LIVE LOUDER – my blog is just an extension of my life, an overflow with text and images. May God give us all lives lived fully on the radical ostentacious edge of abundant life!!!!!!

Is the seperate Emergent channel due to its importance – or has the blogmaster not realised emergent is connected to Christianity – interesting to see who gets placed into what category?

  • Hello all. I decided on a dedicated channel for members of the Emergent Conversation because I think it is that important. I completely understand it to be a Christian movment.
Also it is simple legistics … A single Christianity channel would be mamoth in size. It will literally dwarf all other traditions.
