Pentecost Sunday

Its Pentecost Sunday – time for God’s breath to enliven new things. Here is my poem from last years Pentecost Grid Blog.

Andrew Jones has been blogging since 1997. He is based in San Francisco with his two daughters but also travels the globe to find compelling stories of early stage entrepreneurs changing their world. Sometimes he talks in the third person. Sometimes he even talks to himself and has been heard uttering the name "Precious" :-)

  • Andrew,
I like the poem…powerful imagery. To think that Jesus’ birth, life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension were all preparation for this next to last grand finale–the Father and Son keepiing their promise to pour out the Spirit of God all peoples of the earth!! Matchless and amazing!

  • Great poem, Andrew. Well, except the word “emerged.” I gotta tell you, every time I see that word anymore I start twitching.
