i am chatting with josh cook of scum of the earth and sox place. I have heard of this church many years ago but never visited it in denver or met josh. but here we are, having a chai in glasgow and talking about ministry to the underground. Its an interesting name for a church and they have had their share of publicity and articles – even a slot on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
WOOHOO! Go SOTE 🙂 I just had to give kudos to the folks from my stomping ground 🙂
Andrew,
Hi, this is Corey Hau. I spoke to you via email about 2 years ago about raves in Atlanta (it’s ok, i dont expect you to remember some random dude from Atlanta). Anyway, looks like your blog is still going strong. I was reading through some of your posts and felt compelled to ask you if you know a guy named Patrick Dodson? He lives in New Zealand (near Auckland i believe) and talks on a lot of the topics you care about. i think his site is Patrickdodson.com
Give it a look and listen if you’ve never heard of him.
hi corey
i dont know many new zealanders because , as you may know, i left NZ 25 years ago and hardly ever get back there.
but i will take a look – and i think i have heard his name before.
heh, i read about these guys in a cbs news piece awhile back. but, weirdly enough, finding ’em here kinda takes ’em off the page and makes ’em a bit more solid and real 🙂 blessings.
(here’s the cbs piece if you’re interested: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/04/14/eveningnews/main1498285.shtml)
Very cool. Having worked w/ Foundkids in late 90’s, it’s great to see what God is doing in the underground scene.
bob
i was hanging with foundkids also. did i meet you?
