Gerard Kelly going to Netherlands

Boaz People Gerardkelly60Simon says my good friend Gerard Kelly has just accepted the call to pastor the CrossRoads International Church – a great church in Amsterdam that invited me to speak at their yearly camp 2 years ago . . . unfortunately, I was too busy to go and had to pass on it. We wish Gerard and Chrissie all the best, and we wish much grace and patience for Crossroads as they put up with this crazy man.

Gerard stayed with us in Prague for the Wholehearted Prayer Weekend.

It was an excellent time. Gerard and Chrissie sent the team into Prague to take photos. The images were later made into a tree of life that stayed in our house for nearly a year. The team prayed and drummed all weekend, which gave our neighbours something to talk about. They are probably still talking about it.

Gerard talked me into speaking at Springharvest in 2000 – a good experience and my first encounter with Roger Ellis, Jonny Baker, and a host of others. Gerard rocks. He wrote a great book called “RetroFuture” and set up Bless.org

I second the prayer for crossroads, Gerard is certainly one of a kind and a very good bloke, I enjoyed many things in my 10 years with YFC – Gerrards stuff was def one of the highlights. I ‘m confident he will make an awesome pastor, we need more Gerard’s in the church!!
