I am reposting this verse to memorize. I think we will see a revival of simple Bible memorization in the new future – since we value code over construct. I know I do anyway. I like the idea of public uprightness that is acknowledged in the city, over personal (individual) “righteousness” that is subjective and invisible.
[ORIGINAL] I was just meditating on Proverbs yesterday and decided to doodle on my computer. Here is what happened. I will probably use it in my presentation next month in Germany/Switzerland called “EmergAnt”. Continue for a larger version
Andrew – it’s cool! Hope you have a great time in Switzerland. I would love to connect with you again sometime soon. Are you coming to Holland any time in the near future?
Did you I have started a blog about my churchplanting experiences? Check it out: ourjourney.typepad.com. Bye for now
Andrew I loved the graphics your blog. You know you’re truly gifted.
Andrew – Hi – loved the graphical meditation. Do you have a special programme that allows you to doddle like that, is it something that’s standard on MAC’s, or are you a whiz that can write your own programmes? (I’m stuck with a PC, but hey should not complain, it’s better than nothing).
Anyway – I’d love to do some graphics stuff like that, how do I go about getting started.
Hey Andrew, Im pretty keen on knowing how you did the graphical meditation as well. Could you maybe do a public post? Likewise Im on PC.
As for memorization, its interesting to note how closely linked meditation and memorization are in the psalms.
hi matt
i made an animated GIF with a demo version of photoshop – and then exported it into image ready to make the animation.
its not very good, but i love working with the scriptures – my meditation comes from tinkering with it – a bit like the Celtic monks drawing and illustrating the scriptures.
