I know who got your vote.
I told Jan we will have to rent them all. I’m happy to hear you are all settling in.

    Hi Andrew
You will no doubt be able to imagine how the country feels today, and how NZ media are covering it…a golden glow has descended upon the country for a day or so…
Am pleased you’ve moved in okay…may the London experience be a fruitful one.

And I knew God still answers prayer! There’ll be more of NZ coming up in Jackson’s remake of “King Kong” I hear.

Nice one JRR Tolkien and New Zealand! Great to hear you got the house and the move went well. Enjoy settling in and getting the office established, Glad to here the family are settling in as well.
    Nice touch on this entry!

    Justice — Ha.
I’m in the “so big of an LOTR fan you don’t want to mention the movie within 100 feet of me if you value your life” category.
First of all, the wrong movie won. Maybe they were giving awards based on the trilogy, who knows, but FOTR was a much better film than ROTK.
“May it Be” was a much better song than “Into the West”, which (apologies to Annie Lennox) I barely liked at all.
No “supporting actor nominations” in the cast. Dominic Monaghan and Ian McKellen at least deserved a nomination.
So I don’t know if it is justice, at least not the kind of justice I look forward to.
But it was sweet, even if it wasn’t justice.

I think they thanked everyone in New Zealand except for you, Andrew. Did you feel dissed at all by that? 😉
