Help needed with the last post

Hey you geeks! Somebody help. I am still working on the xhtml for this site. I would like the previous post to be approx. 3-5 pixels away from the side of the image. I added padding=5 and margin=5 but neither helped. What do i add to the xhtml to make this happen? You could give me the answer in a comment below.

i usually use vspace=10 (0r what ever number) and hspace=10 to get a gap around mine….not sure if that is what you’re asking though?

  • andrew jones says:

that did the trick. thanks darren!

For correct XHTML, be sure to put quotes around attribute values. So for my images, I use hspace=”10″ vspace=”4″

wow….i really did learn something this past 11 months! sniff…I’m tearing up here….I know something technical….
I still don’t know what XHTML means…but I know something!

Thanks to both of you – Darren’s advise did the trick and Jon the Geek is correct on the big picture – THAT WE ALL MUST USE XHTML
One of the reasons I switched to XHTML is to provide a RSS feed to phones and websites that track me. I am encouraging all bloggers to switch to XHTML and syndicate their sites so that I am others can track them.
If you are using Blogger, then update to one of their new templates which is XHTML based.
