Forth Worth with Debbie’s Half Sister

A wierd thing happened. I got this email last week that said:

"Debbie . . I am your half-sister. . . "

I thought it might be clever spam but it was true.

Debbie had heard about her half-sister before but had never had any contact with her. As it turned out, Marcia really is the daughter of my wife’s dad from his first marriage, and we just spent the night at her house in Fort Worth. She has 2 daughters and her husband is a Bible salesman – the software kind – he sells the Biblesoft study Bible program. Marcia has been on staff with Assembly of God churches before. Nice family.

Anyway, we will spend the morning here in Forth Worth before getting down to Austin.
