I am contributing a chapter for a series of books on Christianity and the internet. Wikiklesia (website opens in a few days) will be “a collaborative / ecclesial e-book – virtual, self-organizing, participatory. From purpose to publication in four weeks. A collective and chaordic conversation on how technology is changing the church” [link] and the result will be an initial book/PDF called Wikiklesia: Voices of The Virtual World. Thanks to John La Grou and Len Hjalmarson for their foresight.
this sounds like a great idea. People are really starting to embrace the idea of self-publishing and group editing. This is rad.
sounds exciting
Wow. Keep us posted on this.
Funny how this kind of thing happens. Here in Texas our network has started a “World Cafe”-style leadership gathering. (World Cafe is a great book by Juanita Brown and others). We’ve called this gathering “Wikicclesia”, just like your book.
Here’s some reflections on our project:

I’d love to hear more about what transpires in this work you and so many are working on!
Fascinating. Dropped by today and it’s still not up and running. Any estimate of when Wikiklesia will be operational? It will be most interesting to see how it develops. Thanks for the heads up!
