Pyromaniacs are back. After blipping off the blogosphere for a month, the Pyros are back. I think I really missed them. You might not like their dispensationalist theology or their anti-emerging church sentiments, and their readership can be pirahna-like in the comments . . . but you have to admit, they kick ass with their cool blog and their endless supply of gorgeous graphics.

hi philip. really appreciate you getting back to me. any example of an emerging church will do. it doesnt have to be an example from south africa but i would like to know which group you encountered that has caused you to make these judgments about the movement as a whole.

Okay, you were playing my song so far. Then you say, “but you have to admit, they kick ass with their cool blog and their endless supply of gorgeous graphics.”
For me you got that right, too. I realized I was only reading this because I figured that the quality graphics must be a confirmation of God’s blessing! (“That church must be good, they have 10,000 members.”) I eventually removed the bookmark in my computer.
To paraphrase Larry Norman, “Why should the dispensationalists have all the good graphics?”
