Germany: Singin the blues

Oh God, why do you hate me?

I know he doesn’t . . . but the thought crossed my mind this morning, after a cold night in our broken down vehicle.

alas, for it was borrowed!!!

We have broken down in the boringest town in the world (lets hear it for Neumarkt, near Nurnberg!) and are now awaiting mechanics who will drop down from helicopters and remove us and our vehicle from this land without a trace.

Positive side? Our kids had a relaxing day in a park without their dad being in a hurry to leave. And if things go well, they may even tow us back to UK, or better, put us on a train. Soo . . its been a HORRIBLE DEPRESSING DAY today for me, but my family and kids and Shannon are all in good spirits.

Ohhhhh I am a man undone

Ohhhh my journey is a long and tedious one

Ohhh I am old before my years

Ohhhh I cant even sing the blues because I BE A WHITE MAN!!!

Does this mean you won’t be in London tomorrow? Love to meet up if it’s still possible (and convenient for you).

andrew, i would think by now you would be used to this kind of thing, and almost expect it 🙂 what would a Jones’ journey be like without some broken vehicle issue, how boring would that be?? to just ‘drive’ somewhere, where is God’s chance to prove how cool and resourceful, er, um, omnipotent he is??
blessings all. don’t forget to enjoy the parks yourself andrew.

Hi Andrew! While in Nürnberg , you might just as well contact the jesus freAKS there, they`re quite a big and groovy scene there, and you propably know some of them already. They might be able to make your stay less blue. Blessings. by the way, we`re in good spirit and things are moving for us.And Dereks dad is coming to our town next month, we will be there.
