Os Guinness and Global Public Square

Os Guinness speaking at Global Faith Forum. After the “American century” there are some pressing questions for us at the verge of another century:

1. Will Islam modernize peacefully and be a force for peace?
2. Which faith will replace Marxism in China?
3. Will the West recover its roots?

The context for all 3 is globalization and the explosion of religion – which is as “furiously alive as ever”
So how do we live with our deep differences?

But its happening through the emergence of a global public square now possible through the internet. He is comparing the problems with the sacred public square and the private public square.

Most twittered Os quote at #ggf2010 – “The right to believe anything doesn’t mean that anything people believe is right”.
