G5 iMac

indexangles20040831Welcome to another iMac. We have been awaiting this one for a long time. Not a bad design, but it doesnt really seem to do much more than my 5 year old G3 iMac that forms the hub of our digital lifestyle. Our precious little G3 radically transformed our lives in the year 2000AD. We were able to put up websites, Quicktime movies of what God was doing around the world, create multimedia presentations, and my kids found it easy to use. The new one is nice, but it just does the same things a little faster.

and isn’t it better to have a cool looking computer than to have more horsepower under the hood? 🙂

Isn’t this true of all new computers running the same OS? 🙂 And comparing a G3 to a G5, I would say “much faster”. This computer is a fast, affordable, and thing of beauty.
